Important Details to Provide When Requesting a Dance Floor Quote

1. Surface Type:

Grass, Dirt, or Gravel?
Patio Area or Sports Court?
Indoor Venue or Residential Property?

2. Time-Sensitive Needs:

Specify if delivery or pickup requires after-hours service.
Weather Considerations: Outdoor floors may require specific materials based on temperature and weather conditions.
Pictures and Documentation: Email images of the event surface with your contract number for accuracy.

Delivery & Pickup Timing
Venue Restrictions: Many venues require dance floor removal by 10 PM.

After-hours removal incurs a $250 service fee.
For AM pickup (by 10 AM) with venue manager approval, no fee applies.
If the venue charges an overnight fee exceeding $250, it's best to arrange after-hours removal with us.

5. Outdoor Installations

Patio Surface: Floors are chosen based on weather:

If < 90°F: Snap-lock floors.
If > 90°F: Wood floors to avoid tile damage.

Grass Surface: Sprinkler Use: Avoid using sprinklers 24 hours prior to installation to prevent floor warping.

6. Rain Policy

Rain may delay installation until the following morning.
No refunds for rain days, last-minute cancellations, or downsizing.

Note: We no longer install on these surfaces: Gravel, Dirt, or Sand

Sub-Floor Requirements (for Grass Installations):

Additional sub-flooring is mandatory to prevent damage, charged at 50% of the dance floor rental rate.

Refund Policy
No Refunds for weather-related cancellations, rain delays, or downsizing.
High demand during the wedding season limits flexibility.

Our DANCE FLOORS do not come with trim

The industry standard suggests that each couple will need 9 sq ft per couple (that’s over 4.5 ft per person). Example: Let’s assume a party has 200 guests. 40%, or 80 guests, will be dancing at any one time. This means that you would need approximately 360 square feet of dance floor for this party, or a 16×20 dance floor.

If you figure 40 of 100 guests will dance, then you need about a 200 square foot dance floor. If you double that for 200 guests you would need a 400 square foot dance floor. With 300 guests you need a 600 foot dance floor. You can see how easily that rule could get out of hand. So again you have to consider other factors like the age of your guests and how many people you really think will be dancing at one time.
